  • Harborough Christmas Food & Drink Fair & Other Events

    This Friday, Saturday & Sunday
    Find us all weekend at the Harborough Christmas Food & Drink Fair on the Square and spilling
    into the Commons car park too. This is the replacement for our takeaway night this month.
    We shall be selling hot food on all three days so if you fancy a hot takeaway come on down! 
    There will be seating and a bar plus lots of other stalls if you wish to linger.
    Friday also sees the official switch on of the Christmas lights at 6pm

    Find us once more in the courtyard horsebox in the Eco Village, St Mary’s Road. Pre-orders are welcome and
    accepted until 22nd please. We will have food to takeaway and food to eat there

    02 December – Farmers Market / 9am-3pm
    If you would like to pre-order anything from our Food Ordering menu for collection on this day please let
    us know by Monday 29 November

    04 December – Oundle Christmas Market / 12-7pm
    We are also taking food orders for collection from this market if this suits you better. Please email us your
    list by Monday 29 November

    11 December – Eco Village Pop Up / 9am-4pm

    16 December – Christmas Farmers Market / 9am-3pm

    18 December – Christmas Takeaway Night
    We did check to see if the Jubilee Hall was free but sadly it was already booked so we have decided to
    offer a takeaway like last year. Cut off for booking will be Monday 13th latest please.
    Collection is from us, 5pm-7pm, heating/serving suggestions will be provided.
    Payment in advance by bank transfer is preferred or by cash/card on the night, £18.50 p.p.

    Food Orders/Deliveries
    We continue to offer a food ordering service, with local delivery if required, but have streamlined it to
    coincide with the Harborough Farmers Market and our Eco Village pop up days.
    Please email your orders by the Monday of those weeks.

    We are getting out and about to the usual places – Harborough’s Farmers Market and the Eco Village – plus we have a Christmas food & drink fair and a Christmas market. Link to our Events page is here 🎄😊💚👍🌱

  • July, August & September

    The holiday months of July and August are traditionally quiet ones for us from a business point of view so we shall be taking some time out over these few weeks to have a break ourselves while we deal with the recent passing of a family member. We shall still attend the Farmers Markets however and host a takeaway night in August (7th, Japanese theme)

    In September we start with the Farmers Market on the 2nd, followed by a Food Fair also on the Square on the 5th (10am-7pm) from where September’s Street Food takeaway can also be collected. On Saturday 18th we have booked another pop up day at the Eco Village on St Mary’s Road

    We’re more than happy to take pre-orders for collection from most events; please just give us plenty of notice (min. 5 days), thank you 😊

  • June’s Update and Caribbean Takeaway Menu

    Farmers Market, 3rd
    The Harborough Farmers Market repeats as normal on the first Thursday of the month. You will find us in our usual spot outside New Look 9am-3pm(-ish).

    Takeaway Night, 5th
    Please see below our Caribbean-themed takeaway menu for Saturday 05 June. The cut off for booking is Wednesday 2nd latest, sign up via email to farrinheightfoods@gmail.com. Collection is from us, 5pm-7pm, heating/serving suggestions will be provided. Payment in advance by bank transfer is preferred or by cash/card on the night, details supplied on booking

    Eco Village, 12th
    Find us in the courtyard of the EV once more. We’re happy to take pre-orders for collection that day (by Wed 9th please). There will be hot food available too

    Weekly Food Deliveries
    We are still offering our weekly food delivery service, or you can collect from us directly if you wish. Email your order by Tuesday afternoon please or by Monday afternoon if it’s a farmers market week. On weeks when we’re popping up at the Eco Village we prefer collections from there or we can deliver on our way home around 4pm

    Suggestions for Future Takeaway Themes
    Is there a menu theme we’ve not tried yet that you wish we had? Do you have a past favourite that you’d like us to revisit? This is your opportunity to influence our decision making regarding future takeaway menus!

  • March’s Farmers Market, Takeaway Night & Other News

    Here is our update for March 😊

    Farmers Market, 4th
    We’re happy to report that the Harborough Farmers Market will return in March. You will find us in our usual spot outside New Look 9am-3pm(-ish). If you would like to pre-order anything from our Lockdown menu v.3 for collection that day please let us know by Monday 1st. There will be a one way system, fencing and hand sanitizer at the entrance as usual

    Takeaway Night, 6th
    Please see below our Indian-themed takeaway menu for Saturday 06 March. The cut off for booking is Wednesday 3rd latest. Collection is from us, 5pm-7pm, heating/serving suggestions will be provided. Payment in advance by bank transfer is preferred or by cash/card on the night

    Eco Village, 20th
    Find us in the old horse box in the courtyard of the EV on Saturday 20th. Again, we’re happy to take pre-orders for collection that day (by Wed 17th). There will be hot food available too

  • We’re back up and running with an updated food ordering menu and an Italian takeaway night planned!

    We’re happy to report that all’s well at FHFoods HQ and we’re gearing up to start cooking for you again this week and every week thereafter
    Our Lockdown 3.0 menu is attached and replaces previous menus as there have been some price changes, both up and down. The basic arrangement remains unchanged – order by Tuesday afternoon for delivery Thursday evening.

    Also attached is our Italian-themed takeaway menu which is available to order for collection on Saturday 13 February; just in time to celebrate St Valentine’s Day.  If anyone wants to lovingly nudge a meatball across the table towards their partner Lady & The Tramp-style, be our guest!
    A four-course meal with side dishes and two desserts costs £17.50. This compares very favourably with other takeaways in town. We costed out a similar veggie/vegan menu from 11 other establishments and the average price was £22.80.Our next takeaway night will be Saturday 06 March and the menu will be Indian-themed

    February’s farmers market has now been cancelled but will hopefully return in March

  • Update – January 2021

    Having enjoyed a very busy run up to Christmas with the most festive food orders we have ever had (thank you!) we have been having some well-earned January downtime which ends this weekend.

    We had hoped to be writing about how we are up and running and back in the kitchen again next week but that is not going to be the case. Mr FHFoods has tested positive so we are currently self-isolating (his symptoms are mild). Normal service will resume once Covid has left the building and we have done a thorough cleanse and sanitize. 

    We took the decision last week, in light of the worsening situation, to cancel our planned pop up at the Eco Village on 23 January and our attendance at the Farmers Market on 04 February. Apologies to those who were hoping to find us there; we do not want to be the reason you leave your home.

    All being well, our weekly contact-free deliveries and monthly takeaway meals will begin again in February. Our Lockdown food ordering menu is being updated and will be published very soon.

    In the meantime, we hope you had a good a Christmas as possible and wish you all the best for 2021, stay safe xx

  • Our Order Book is Full!

    Thank you to everyone who has placed a Festive Food Order with us for collection in the coming days; there is many of you and we are truly very grateful 😊
    With our Christmas takeaway menu still to cater for plus more orders next week, we are now up to our limit and cannot accommodate further requests

    We will be at the Christmas Farmers Market tomorrow mainly to hand over all the food that has been pre-ordered but we will have a small surplus stock of a few items

  • November’s Pop Up Dining Night becomes a Takeaway

    As you might well have expected following the Government’s announcement on 31 October, we will no longer be permitted to host our pop up night on 21 November. This is a real shame (we were only 4 customers away from being fully booked) but completely understandable.

    By way of an alternative, we shall be offering the whole menu (shown below) at a reduced price as a takeaway option instead. Collect all four courses from us cold then reheat at your leisure at home. This way you don’t have to miss Strictly Come Dancing! 😄
